The crew walked. You inherited the keys.

Millbrook Receiving is the last plant in town. Do their job with your hands, then write Python so a bot can take the shift. No lectures. No blanks. Vale is on the radio.

What is BRaiNSTEM?

BRaiNSTEM is set in Millbrook Receiving, the night after the crew revolted and quit. The belt would not sleep. Management would not cut power. So they walked. You inherited the keys. First you pick, walk, and place with your own hands. Then you write those same orders in Python and teach a bot to keep the town's last floor alive.

Explore the factory districts

The plant is split into themed zones, each teaching a different slice of Python or PLC automation. Early floors are gentle tutorials; later districts throw multiple concepts at once.

Code. Run. See it happen.

Vale talks you through each vacant job. You walk it, then you write it. Sequence, variables, if, and loops arrive when the floor needs them — not as fill-in-the-blank.

Four things this plant runs on

Everything else is a vacant job you automate in Python.

1

Hands-on coding

You type real Python in the bot brain. print, see, pick, move, place. Run it. The floor does exactly what you wrote.

2

AI assistance

Foreman Vale stayed when the crew left. He talks you through each vacant job, reads a failed run, and offers the next one.

3

Progress tracking

Shifts save when you cover a job. Stars and attempts follow your account so the plant remembers which roles you already automated.

4

Game mechanics

Hopper, belt, dump, bins, a jam if you miss. The plant is the puzzle. Python is how you keep it from dying again.

Zero to Absolute Hero

A 100-hour RPG campaign across six acts. Every act ends in a boss project.

Districts

Six regions. One engine. The code stays the same even when the camera shifts.

Live Attract Mode

When you are away, the factory keeps running. Watch an agent bot solve levels with its code blurred, learning from behavior instead of answers.

What you will master

Every concept is taught inside a level, not a lecture.

What to expect

BRaiNSTEM is built for players who want to learn by doing. Here is what a typical session looks like.

Real Python, right away

You write actual Python syntax from the first level — function calls, variables, loops, conditionals, lists, and more. No drag-and-drop blocks or pseudo-code.

Immediate visual feedback

Every program you run animates the factory floor. You can see whether your logic worked, spot the exact moment it failed, and iterate quickly.

Guided discovery

Levels are scaffolded with starter code, clear goals, and optional hints. New concepts are introduced inside gameplay first, then reinforced with concept cards you collect along the way.

RPG progression

Six acts, six districts, and a 100-hour campaign ending in boss projects. Earn stars, unlock bot classes, and grow from floor worker to systems architect.

Live attract mode

When you are not playing, watch an AI agent solve levels in real time. The source code is blurred so you learn from behavior before reading the solution.

Free to play
